Welcome to my website. “My artwork ranges from painting, sculpture, prints, and book arts to installations and site-specific pieces. The nature of the projects dictates the form, content, and choice of materials. I believe that art can be a vehicle for investigating and reconstructing a new vision of reality.” Born in Mexico City, Viviana studied art at “La Esmeralda, Instituto Nacional de Bellas Artes”. She also holds a degree in Translation and Conference Interpretation from the “Instituto de Intérpretes y Traductores” in Mexico City. In 1981 she earned her degree in Visual Arts from UCSD. Her work has been shown in numerous solo and group exhibitions and is represented in many collections. She lives and works in San Diego, CA. |
